About

Konstantinos Kassimatis is a Professor in Finance at the Department of Business Administration of the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from Middlesex University (2000), a master’s degree in Money, Banking and Finance from Middlesex University (1996) and a bachelor’s degree from Wolverhampton University (1995).

From 1998 to 2000 (part-time) and from 2000 to 2002 (full-time) he was a Lecturer in Finance at Middlesex University. From 2002 to 2003 he worked for the Risk Management department of Emporiki Bank.  He joined the Athens University of Economics and Business in 2003 as a Lecturer. His research interests include asset pricing, behavioral finance, country risk and portfolio management. He has published in various academic journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, International Review of Financial Analysis and others.
